Hey, I only could handle like 10 minutes of this arrogant comments and refusal to really try to address the questions offered up by the GOP attendees before I had to change the channel. I didn't have time to identify the rats from the polecats at that point.

Don't confuse education with intelligence. Color got this clown into schools we could not attempt. His performance was apparently sub-par (hence the sealed grades). I repeat - can anybody point to ANYTHING this clown has done that is indicative of intelligence??

Well - one could argue that he is the POTUS...and we're not...although approximately half the voters in this country would also use that as a counter argument based on their views of GWB...or of WJC...usw.

Richard's $.02

I've never met him, however I imagine I would address him as Dr. Krauthammer.

As a POTUS and a leader the guy is a zero. His constant gaffes in conduct, common sense, and ignorance of history are embarrassing for one so educated. It's possible his sole talent is a knack for delivering speeches, he doesn't seem to recall what he even said. However, Obama or someone in his camp, unfortunately ran a magnificent campaign, outmanuevered a savvy experienced Hillary Clinton, and probably changed how technology is used in US elections going forward.

Axelrod and the dem establishment ID'd this guy years ago. It was NO coincidence that he gave the key note speech at the dem convention back when Lurch(?) was running. He has been groomed for the position as an icon. He has no substance. John Lott used to teach with him at Columbia and he has given a number of interviews of just what a lightweight the guy is. He is an affirmative action icon, that ironically will set back the progress of blacks for years.

Well, when I watch him speaking on tv, I tend to yell out, "Attaboy Chucky".

"Attaboy Dr. Krauthammer" just doesn't feel right for me.

Broadsword 2004,

I've read his swipe at the supreme court during the state of the union address was surprisingly ignorant for a constitutional law professor. I hear you on McCain, he made mistakes which make me wonder if he really wanted to win. Obama did however outmanuever the Clintons, who are both talented and more experienced politicians.

FWIW, the New York Times ran a scathing analysis of Mrs. Clinton's crash and burn in June 2008. That article, available here, points more to the dysfunctions of and the division within the Clinton campaign than anything else.

MOO, much of the current president's successful political career can be chalked up to the sexual misadventures of his rivals.
  • In 2004, he won his senate seat over GOP rising star Jack Ryan whose own sex scandal led to a vicious divorce. The details of which became public in the heat of the campaign. (Ryan evidently believed that sevenofnine was not just a character his wife, Jeri Ryan, played on Star Trek: Voyager but a position she should fill as a part of his living The Lifestyle.) <<RIMSHOT>>
  • Bill Clinton's "bimbo eruptions" cast into doubt his wife's credibility. Her continued loyalty seemed to demonstrate that she placed her political ambitions ahead of her sense of self.
  • The MSM's refusal to break the story of Senator Edwards's mistress meant that his supporters had no reason to re-evaluate their priorities when Edwards endorsed his rival from Illinois.

Can we agree that the President of the United States of America has not achieved (any of) his goals?

Can we all agree that foreign policy issues basically remain the same and have not had a major policy shifts. Same issues, same confrontations, etc?

Can we agree that no matter the party, the economic bailout would have been very much the same?

Can we agree that after the heavy handiness of the democrats, the American People will be very reluctant to ever again place that much control in the hands of one party again?

In some thread prior to the election, I stated that if elected, President Obama's Presidency, would resemble that of Mayor Dinkins reign as Mayor of NYC. I do not think, at least at this point, the comparison is unwarranted.

Also, the most interesting result of Dinkins stewardship of NYC has been the in last five election. The box office score for NYC is: Rudy 2, Bloomberg 3; conservative results in arugably, one of the most liberal city in the world.

And NO he never sent me my $500.00 Bucks back!!
