It’s not one of John Hollinger’s White Oak Precision match barrels, but out of the box it shoots better than I can. I went over it with a 3M paint prep pad to dull the shine and rough it up a little, then sprayed and baked with Brownells Gun-Kote in matte black.
- Colt M4 upper receiver. The receiver came from a new LE M4 upper that a guy bought in 2000 and put away in his safe. No white T markings.
- Colt half-circle BCG. I replaced the blue extractor insert and spring with a Colt black extractor insert, copper-colored spring, and Crane o-ring.
- LMT CH with Badger tactical latch
- PRI low-profile gas block with set screws (the barrel is dimpled). I would like to pin it, but then I would have to send it out.
- Larue 12.0 rail with TangoDown panels
- Troy front/rear BUIS
- LMT A2 FH from my shorty

It’s a smooth-shooting upper, but with my limited experience, I cannot discern that the middy shoots softer than a carbine. My only complaint with this upper is the sight picture with the Troy front BUIS is very confusing to me. Again, likely an experience and training issue. I understand that Troy has redesigned their front sight, but I will keep this older one for now and try to focus harder on the front sight post.

Damn!
You're one up on the Reaper's weapons pictures!

Fine shots and a fine looking piece.
