I just got this finished.
It used to be a 16 inch AR15A3, but after finishing my SBR paperwork and having a local smith cut, crown, re-thread the barrel, as well as open up the gas port. It is now a 10.5 inch SBR that runs flawlessely.
I'm still playing around with the lights to find the best combination for duty of weight,battery life, and lumens.... its an ongoing process.
I'm also thinking about adding a Noveske KX3 flash suppressor but I have no experience with one so I'm hesitant.... Anyone out there have one? If so what do you think of it?
