I believe that is the device we used to use to load hopsets and fills into the SINCGARS before the ANCYZ 10 came around. Cant remember the nomenclature though.

That looks like an EECM used for the first Gen SINGARS. The EECM had the load set and the KYK-13 carried the COMSEC fill. This was all replaced by the ANCD.

Regardless, it shouldn't be on eBay.

Last time I checked, ALL fill devices are CCI. Unfortunately, most DRMO employees wouldn't recognize a controlled item if it fell on their heads.

Found it. This is an MX-18290, and is used to load the Hopset. Don't know whether it's CCI.

The MX-18290 was CCI when it was in inventory as well as the KYK-13. I know the KYK -13 is still CCI, so to error on the safe side I would assume the Mx-18290 is still CCI. Who is the individual selling this?

I agree. I guess eBay really doesn't pay attention to the things people are trying to sell. If someone were to buy it (average joe), though, what would they be able to do with it ?

If it were a 1920s era surplus BAR mag, it would be gone in sixty seconds.

Someone just needs to send the link to either CID or the NSA, and tell eBay that this is lost or stolen government property.

This item is a Controlled Cryptographic Module. The FBI has been contacted.

It's probably the FBI that listed it on ebay.
