ideal running level

Hello,

I really don't enjoy running. I clocked my 2 miler at 15:50. According to regs it meets the pt requirement to attend sfas.

Question, will it be good enough to pass sfas? If not, what would be?

Go to google, look up the APFT scorecard. Look at the 17-21 age bracket scores, and find the run times that correspond with achieving 100 points. That is your training goal. Absolute maximum (slowest) run time should be that which results in 85 points. The competition to become SF is fierce nowadays; you either perform, or you fall by the wayside and those better than you advance. You decide how badly you want to join, then train like you have no other option but to be selected.

Nothing left to be said.

No. We don't really enjoy dragging people along who can't run when we have worn out our welcome.

Do some research in the stickies. The correlation has already been posted.

Have a very non-SF Day.
