It's called Exculpatory Evidence
I'm old and slow, but this failure to share exculpatory evidence looks like it should have a bunch of people worried.
If the defendant "QAnon Shaman" and his lawyer were prevented from seeing the videos, heads should roll.
If the prosecution did hide evidence in this case, they probably did it to ALL the Jan 6th defendants.
Sharing ALL evidence between the prosecution and defense is a big legal tenant.
Is Pelosie, the Jan 6th committee, and the DOJ going to get their day in court as the defendant(S)

ref: Exculpatory evidence - evidence favorable to the defendant in a criminal trial that exonerates or tends to exonerate the defendant of guilt.

I could write a fucking treatise on the shit that is being pulled one the Jan 6th folks. Anyone whose phone pinged within the District has been visited by the Stasi (FBI); these guys are being held for minor trespass, without bail, and in violation of speedy trial mandates. Mandatory disclosure and exculpatory evidence matters are being hidden. It is THE LITERAL definition of "destroying our democracy." (However, we are not a democracy - we are a Constitutional Republic).
The problem with fighting the government is that they have unlimited resources. The average Capitol tourist has already been bankrupted, family destroyed, etc. They simply can't fight the DOJ as they don't have the millions in legal fees it would require.
Maybe this weekend I'll get a few beers in me and get my typy-fingers flying.

Probably didn't help Chansley that he apparently had less-than-stellar representation who talked him into a plea deal before defense counsels were getting the evidence, and one that waived his appeal rights at that. (Didn't know you could do that, but then the government system says a 3rd party can waive your liability so...)

Not that it isn’t important or that it shouldn’t matter, but the Players’ Championship golf tournament is on ESPN+ right now. I mean really, will Rory come back from 12 shots back to close the lead……
Most a-ME-rikans couldn’t tell you what day the six January capital thing happened let alone what happened to those “evil terrorist insurrectionist orange man bad people”.
Maybe Aaron Rodgers will be traded to the Jets?
I am going to McDonalds for breakfast, does anyone want me to grab them an Egg-Mc-Muffin?

Sausage Egg McMuffin w/hash browns, the meal (coffee thanks, I'm good for it) and we can talk about important stuff like how many more Cubs games I can't watch if the Brewers leave Wisconsin. We need to get on that. That's just above me running down a local rabbit hole because of a school district begging for more money and can't say where their 1/2 million of Covid "relief" money went.
