Legend of the Ho Chi Minh trail

A little piece of history.

The Ho Trail is still being used.

An important place in SF History. A lot of our brothers made the ultimate sacrifice in those places...

Much familiar ground!!!

I woke up one morning, on the side of a Lao Mountain, (we had entered into the RON after dark) to find that the "rock" that I had been playing "footsies" with all night was a YELLOW PUMPKIN WITH FINS!!!

NEVER went into an RON after dark again!!!

Later
Martin

Working now. Something strange was happening with my new router. The the entire internet eventually went out. I reset everything and now it's fine.

Interesting pictures. We sure dumped a lot of ordnance in that area. I wonder how many people are killed every year trying to salvage that stuff? That guy in the pictures was pretty bold to be handling some of those munitions.

The U.S. dropped more ordnance on the Ho Chi Minh Trail than on Europe in WW II....
