Former 11B
From Oregon. I'm a prior 11B did a one 3 year contract for the Old Guard.
I have been out almost a year and lived in Mexico for the first part of the year but now working a desk is killing me slowly inside and will certainly go crazy if I do it life long.
My plan is to go back in under an 18x contract before the end of the year. Currently I am working on getting my run and ruck up to par again as I will not have the OSUT warm up and will be going straight to Airborne School then right into SOPC and what not once I go back in.
Thank you QP's for all of the valuable information and great humor on this forum.

Cyberwarrior Intro
Been a member for awhile but never posted. I have served in the Reserve Component for 14 years (5 Navy, 9 Army National Guard). I served a year in Afghanistan and it was quite the experience. I always loved America but I came home with a renewed sense of appreciation for this great country. I use this forum to keep me motivated to pursue excellence. I also enjoy the wealth of information the Quiet Professionals have to offer. Thank you all (SF) for your service! You are definitely the "Tip of the Spear".

Recent Q-Course Grad
I’ve been a member of PS.com since 2009 and this site was an invaluable resource in my preparation for Selection and SFQC. I have never posted anything on the forums here simply because I used this site as a tool to read, study and learn the things I needed to be successful. Only after graduating the Q-course am I posting an introduction.
However, as a recent Q-course graduate, I understand that only now have I stepped up to the ‘starting line’. So I find myself returning to this website in an effort to continue to learn so that I can make myself a value-added member to my team.
I’ve spent two years enlisted as a 13F, six years as an 11A with one of those in Eastern Afghanistan. Right now, I’m trying to soak up every bit knowledge I can from my NCOs.
In addition, 18C4V is my 18Z and 18C/GS 0602 is my JR 18C.

Introduction
Hello all, and Thank you for the knowledge you have posted on this site, it has been very helpful.
I am a 25yo 18X canidate, shipping in Spring of 2013.
I have been married for 7 years, and been together as a couple for 10. I am also the proud father of a beautiful 9 month old daughter (at the time of this writing), and a 6 year employee in a medical laboratory.
I found myself looking for a drastic change in my life, so I stopped by the local Army recruiter's office to see what I could do for the country that has done me so well my whole life. As soon as I seen the "18X" contract selection, I knew it was "Go big, or Go home."
Right now, I'm doing my PT everyday, and keeping my eye on that 25m target.
That's quite enough about me, I'll zip it tight, and continue to read and absorb the very helpful and unique knowledge available.
God bless.
-John

hello
Hi, my name is Brad, don't let the username fool you. I am 20 years old and leave for basic training in January. I attended community college for a few years after high school because everyone told me that you have to go to college to be successful. However, I was never at peace there and knew I wanted to do something bigger with my life. So here I am, trying to pursue a way to serve the people around me and the country that I love.
I enjoy any outdoor activity from hunting to snowboarding. And I like to challenge myself physically and mentally.
I owe everything in my life to my savior Jesus Christ. Without Him, I am nothing.

I have enjoyed my time serving within Special Forces for last 20 years and glad to have met many good friends along the way. But as the inevitable everything must come to an end so I have started a new chapter and my family and I are enjoying it.

Introduction.
My name is Chris. I'm currently an EOD Team Leader stationed out of Fort Carson Colorado. I was a 11B but decided I wanted something a little more. I had suffered a knee injury which curbed me from going to SFAS, so I decided to give EOD a shot. EOD has turned out not to be what I expected it to be. After working with SF on this deployment, it has definitely reaffirm desire to become a QP. Now that I have a 11B and EOD background, I feel that I have a little more to bring to the table. I've poked around in a lot of the threads and I'm amazed at the wealth of information and knowledge provided by present and former QPs.
