Could we have a Pacific area added to the area studies? The US has an interest in the area (Western Samoa), Tonga will probably rise up in the next six months to a year and Fiji is always good for a reliable coup.

, but the AOR referred to as "Asia" in the Area Studies section actually refers to the Asia-Pacific AOR of the U.S. Pacific Command (PACOM), and by extension Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC).

The forums are oriented toward the areas covered by the regional commands and their corresponding special operations component commands. The Special Forces Groups have their primary orientation to these regions; thus, this is the AOR of 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne).

I would have called it "Asia-Pacific".
