RIP SPC Zack Hannsey, Pv2 Chris Smith, Justin Thompson

I just burried two of my friends who where in other guard units. I was with them the night before they died in the same car wreck. I volunteered to do the funeral detail for the both of them. I was on honor guard with the Air Force and did a ton of funerals, but it's different when you are carrying the casket of somebody you know. The third committed suicide wedsday night. I dont want to tell much about that. It's been a hard week, losing three friends and then getting ready for AT with my unit.

On the bright side, I met a MSG who is SF, been around since the early '60's. He told me there are a few "older" SF guys around town that he knew and they would be happy to help me out in any way I Needed. It was funny, because there where a ton of military types at the funeral yesterday, but I, a lowly SPC, was the first and only person he came up and talked to, just because "i had an SF unit patch on my shoulder, so i must be ahead of the game".

Anyways, I've had a rough week, losing 3 friends in four days, but something good came from this, I now have a good "guide" in my path to SF who also has an awesome weapons collection that he wants to share
