Stanley Stegmire's

The mention of Richmond, VA brought back a memory. About 20 years ago I had some classes in Richmond and we ate at a place called Stanley Stegmeir's. It was a real experience. It was a large house and each room in the house had a different theme and decor, e.g. Hoosegow, fortune teller's room, etc.

It has been my dream to do something similar -- a restaurant with several different oriental themes and food e.g. Thai, Chinese, Japanese etc. If any of you have seen the TV show "Hell's Kitchen" perhaps I should try to enter. The grand prize is the ownership of your own restaurant. Better yet, my sons should audition.
