Thanks for the pics. I was wondering.. do you think I could get one of you shooting in the pics posted? I want to create a siggy out of it.. please?

Don't mean to butt in or hijack but that would be your depth of field ma'am. When the aperture of a camera's lens is open to say f5.6 you get a very shallow depth of field. Such is the case with the pic you mentioned foreground in focus, background out of focus. So let's say your aperture is set to f16 you would have a much greater depth of field and if you were to focus on the object closest to you everything else in the picture would appear to fall into focus. The larger the format of camera you have the greater room you have to play with the depth of field. Once again sorry for the hijack but at least my degree in photography proved useful for a short second.
