Only cast and recovery I did was in Nantahala Lake in September. Wasn't bad then. It was 1978.

I arrived at Tolz the day they were getting wet so I was not there for the training. (My cast and recovery was at the SCUBA course in key West).

The rucks were ALICE Large. I suspect they contained air bladders...
