As many of you know, I fled a deep blue state two years ago and moved to Free Pineland. The natives here don't like the influx of new people, but usually they accept me when I (1) tell them I am a refugee, not a missionary; (2) show them my "Don't tread on me" license plate; and (3) show them a photo of my gun safe.

People do vote with their feet, however they tend to bring their F-Up ideologies with them and the vote for the tools with flashy websites that create the problems. Then the tools spend big money on out of state consulting firms to show them how to F*** things up even more. DEI Sheriff, DEI Police Chief, DEI Mayor, DEI City Council, DEI School Board, DEI County Officials, DEI State Officials, spineless/cooped representation on the Federal level is the death of Federalism and the Republic.
Looking more and more like there is only one box left to reverse the cancer that has metastasized.

That is the catch - MILLIONS of assholes are dirty, hypocritical, self serving, evil missionaries and just refuse to accept or admit it.
Post a sentry at the New York border and take an exit poll.
There is ZERO doubt that you will find as many "D" voters leaving town as you will good people leaving town.
Why is that?
They VOTED for these assholes !!!
...and now these fuckers are coming to your town.
...so they can find a spot on the school board
...or the city council
...on the homeowners association
...and they are going to do their best to make OUR town like THEIR town
...then they'll move to the next town
...like a virus

Every time I see a vehicle here in Texas with a NYerk, CALI or ILL license plate my right index finger twitches.
Eyeing that Exit sign on the state line. Just a matter of time before Texas changes from purple to true blue. Hell, half the so-call Republican politicians already act like Dims anyway.

There are TONS of people who moved here from where I used to live. They overwhelmingly are right-wingers who didn't want to live in Cuba. As a result, things are going to get even worse in my old home state because the people who were voting against everything are leaving.

The problem in Texas is that many of those people are moving with their tech jobs. Tech workers are overwhelmingly progressive.

The sad reality is that this end-state is a feature - not a bug.
The REAL shock will come when progressives - the ones that want to reap the benefits of capitalism while force feeding communism to their neighbors - finally run out of safe havens to flee to once they have poisoned the last well...
Easy to vote your way into it something something...
...something something gotta fight your way out if it

Agreed. Yet the "Republicans" in charge of the state court the tech companies to move here and bring their employees who voted to destroy the states they are/were in.

Politics in my county is dominated by Flagstaff.
The city is very liberal while rest of the county is conservative.
Spent roughly 5 of the last 7 years working based out of there, and still work based out of there about 4 months per year.
I commute 260 miles per day (round trip) rather than living there.
They keep voting for tax and wage increases, and then wonder why prices keep increasing.
