I want to thank everyone for their prayers. The last SITREP from yesterday said Dad’s O2 was back up to 90 but he still has no appetite, for solid food anyway. He doesn’t mind drinking Ensure, or the equivalent, so the staff are allowing him all the liquids he wants. They know that soft drinks really aren’t the best thing for him and the others to be consuming but, screw it. If they give him something to enjoy while washing down the bucket of foul tasting meds as well as putting some liquids in him, they aren’t going to deny them. Besides, at this point, it’s those little victories that continue to nourish the soul that matter.

Prayers and empathy! Went through the dementia and memory care facility with my Mom not long ago, that’s a tough situation. Lost my Dad more recently. The best to your Dad!
The latter makes me a bit of a neighbor however the State is very long South to North as I’m sure you know...
