We expect the GO to resign in protest of insanity. Perhaps we are to hold ourselves to the same resolve?

As I have said before, this is a mental illness and any psychologist will tell you so. As I recall we had to take an extensive mental evaluation during selection. To weed out the crazies I thought and make sure anyone continuing on would be mentally stable for the upcoming stress etc....
If indeed these individuals are mentally ill (which it appears the military agrees they have a mental disorder) then how is it they can stay in the Regiment, much less on a team?
Am I to understand all values and rules are out the window when dealing with these people?

It's the modern version of the Emperor's New Clothes. No one is willing to call bullsh*t, so the parade goes on and we all look like fools.
But answer me this - if a soldier trades in his gender marker and sacrifices his dangly bits to the knife and becomes a "she" instead of a he - wouldn't this person now be disqualified to serve on teams that are all-male? Seems he would forfeit that opportunity by becoming a "woman."
I suppose conversely, if a woman became a man, would "he" now be able to serve (provided "he" qualifies) on an all-male team?

Well, this General did:

France's army chief resigns over Macron's budget cuts
France's army chief has resigned after clashing with President Emmanuel Macron over defense budget cuts. General Pierre De Villiers said he could not guarantee the defense of France.
France's army chief abruptly quit on Wednesday in a mushrooming dispute with President Emmanuel Macron over budget cuts to the military, underlying the challenges the new leader will face over planned economic reforms.
"I have always taken care ... to maintain a military model that guarantees the coherence between the threats that weigh on France and Europe, the missions of our armies that don't stop growing, and the necessary budget means to fulfill them," he said in a resignation statement.
De Villiers, who has been in the position since 2014, added that he could no longer perform the functions of the job.
"I no longer consider myself in a position to ensure the durability of the military model that I believe in, to guarantee the protection of France and the French," he said.

Silence is consent and continuing to serve in a climate of social justice taking precedence over warfighting......when these Generals and Admirals stay silent after retirement having earned enough money to lived without retirement pay if they wanted the advantage of a resume of consistent leadership and top notch experience to continue in another venture and they stay silent after retirement? Do they screen O's to make sure they are completely pragmatic and stand for not a single ideal before they promote them? Well the Smedley Darlington Butlers of the world are truly a rare breed of man

Sad freaking day when a French General shows more spine than our own Perfumed Princes.

Ha...Funny... but it could be very confusing this "New Gender Neutral" Army with all the mix-matching of "New Body Parts" and "Disappearing Body Parts" and "Gender Counseling", sort of like Frankenstein's Monster. Especially when your former "male" drinking buddy would rather go shopping for a nice new pair of stilettos rather than watch the football game at the bar

The modern investment in victimhood is a zero-sum game which requires someone to be the tormentor, who is then persecuted. Different facet of the same class-warfare coin.
