Inside job you think? Reminds me a bit of the recent fiasco with the Cal Guard and the DEA.

Went through the roof?

Went through the roof?

Old Army Arms Rooms for permanent stations were inside the building and then inside a cement block room with a steel door and window. Plus an alarm system.

Wonder how these were secured?

Poorly, in this case.

And six "semi-auto" rifles. Probably not a true statement, not if they are current weapons with three shot burst capability.

And probably an inside job, someone that knows the building layout/alarms (or lack thereof).

If they got the bolts, it was an inside job.

From what I've been hearing it was six M4's, ten "handguns" and "long rifles". Whatever that's supposed to mean. Apparently this same Armory has been broken into before. You'd think they'd have taken precautions after the first time but nope. From what I hear, that armory had poor security (if any). No posted guards, no roaming patrols. You'd think they'd have an alarm system but alarm systems have their issues/flaws.

I'd agree with the inside job theory.

Suspect arrested in theft of guns from Army Reserve facility
Published November 19, 2015
·Associated Press

BOSTON – The FBI has made an arrest in connection with the theft of 16 guns from a Massachusetts Army Reserve armory.

According to an FBI affidavit, James Morales was arrested in New York on Wednesday.

Six M4 rifles and 10 Sig Sauer M11 handguns were stolen from the Lincoln Army Reserve Center in Worcester last weekend.

The theft was reported Sunday morning.

The FBI affidavit says Morales was tied to the theft through DNA evidence and through an electronic monitoring bracelet that he is wearing because he is out on bail on a child rape charge.

Morales is scheduled to appear in federal court in New York on Thursday. It could not immediately be determined if he has a lawyer.

The FBI has said that the theft is not terrorism related.

Lol, you can't make this shit up...

"Authorities say the man left four “reddish brown stains” in and around the weapons vault. They claim DNA obtained from those stains was a match for Morales, who had been wearing a monitoring bracelet after he was charged with child rape back in May."

I want to know where they purchase their firearms with that price estimate - I've been looking for a good deal on a new toy or two...

Rather than report the true value, it's probably a threshold amount for the state to bring felony burglary charges.

For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.
