University of Missouri President resigns

I remember not too long ago some white supremacist racist had drawn swastikas on the doors in the 7th SFG barracks here on Bragg. I'm sure there are others here that remember all the media attention, requisite invasion of prominent black leaders screaming inequality, and the general suck that rolled downhill from the Chain of Command. Damn white oppressors! Made national media in a heartbeat.

I can barely remember the news reporting that the one responsible for the racist assault was a support soldier, cook I believe, and black. I cannot remember what punishment was handed down, it was minimal though.

Maybe that's why 7th SFG was kicked off Fort Bragg years later?! Hmmmm,,,,

Seems there is more to this than just crappy swastikas (pun intended), disgruntled grad students and activist football players with a 4-5 record.

- Ferguson
- Black Lives Matter on UofM campus doesn't get attention
- Social justice group comes up with plan. They want what they've always wanted: mandatory reeducation to force everyone to support social justice and the LGBTQR political agenda and racial hiring quotas
- Student body president invents an incident, posts rant on FB
- nothing really happens until they pressure football players to join protest. School then would have agreed to sacrifice the president on a cross if that would have avoided a football forfeit...

Obama has yet to be accepted as black by the black community, UNLESS a non-black person is criticizing him.

Carson is not black either. I guess we will never have a black president.

There is not too much excitement in the black community for the 2016 presidential campaign. This time around, the Democrats have given blacks a choice between an old white woman and an old white man. Boring. Or they can choose the intelligent, highly successful black neurosurgeon running as a Republican. In fact, Dr. Ben Carson's life story better aligns with black Americans than does President Obama's. Dr. Carson and his brother were raised in the ghettos of Detroit by an illiterate single mother.

During his speech at the 61st Annual National Prayer Breakfast, Dr. Carson spoke about how his mother used to pretend to grade his and his brother's homework. Although she could not read, she would mark all over their assignments and make them redo them. Because of his mother's strong discipline, he and his brother became very successful (a neurosurgeon and an engineer). You would think that all black Americans would be excited about a poor black kid pulling himself up through hard work and discipline. What an amazing, inspiring example for black children.

However, instead of being excited about Dr. Carson's inspiring life story, the Democratic Party, including black Democrat intellectuals, are doing their best to destroy him. The last thing Democrats want is a black successful Republican who pulled himself up from poverty through hard work to make it to the White House. A real-life shining example would destroy the liberal message of government dependency, white privilege, institutional racism, and all the other lies and excuses that they have been telling blacks.

Discussing Dr. Carson on CNN, host Poppy Harlow had the following exchange with liberal CNN political commentator Marc Lamont Hill and right-leaning guest Ben Ferguson:

POPPY HARLOW: I want to get some time in here for you both to weigh in on something I read this morning, and our team talked about it was really fascinating. It's from a column, an opinion column in the Washington Post this morning by Janell Ross. She writes, in part: "Carson and his team have to protect and vigorously defend the once-violent-and-poor, now delivered-and-rich story -- hard. "...Carson's up-from-nothing, saved-by-Jesus-and-personal-effort story works, primarily with white Republican voters. "...for some it affirms the conscious or unconscious connections (stereotypes) they draw between blackness, poverty and violence. "For others, it demonstrates that Jesus saves. And for others still, it is a narrative that says other, potentially costly social solutions to poverty and violence are not necessary." That struck me. Ben, your thoughts?

We're all shaped by communities, by people who struggled and sacrificed for us, by governments that offer safety nets. And what Ben Carson is able to do essentially is reject all that stuff and say that I was saved-

HILL: Let me finish my point, Ben. I didn't interrupt you. Ben Carson is able to say -- we're talking about Ben Carson -- Ben Carson is able to say, "I was saved by Jesus and hard work." That allows him to reject a safety net. That allows him to push back against the expansion of a welfare state. That allows him to resist tax cuts for the middle class and poor and tax hikes for the wealthy. It allows him to create an entire narrative where people say, "Hey, wait a minute, why are you doing this?" Ben Carson can say, "Hey, because I did it myself," and it makes white voters feel comfortable to say that, "Look, this black guy himself is telling me poor people... –

HARLOW: To be clear here, guys, I got to wrap it up, but to be clear here, there is no disputing that he grew up poor in Detroit-

HILL: Absolutely.

HARLOW: -and struggled and made an incredible accomplishment becoming the neurosurgeon that he is.

The Democratic Party cannot win without the black vote. They need for blacks to think that whitey is holding them back and that only the government can take care of them. That is why, in my humble opinion, a black Republican will never make to the White House.
