pipeline question
I'm a mechanic reclassing as an 18X and I'm trying to figure out if I have to go back through BCT or if I'll just be sent to infantry OSUT.

I was told by the admins on the Future Soldier page that if I'm MOS qualified I'd go to SFAS.

You may do as you please, but I would take the word of a man with a contract in his hand over internet rumors every day of the week.

I'm a reservist, out of Washington. I actually just got the number for Fort Lewis's SF recruiting detachment, thank you for the advice.

Details details.... Might have put in your original post that you were a Reservist. That makes a big difference. Second are you trying to go reserve to active also makes a difference.
There are a lot of threads covering every option on e board. Search and read....
