Massachusetts: Seven Muslims caught trespassing at large public water supply; patrols
Massachusetts: Seven Muslims caught trespassing at large public water supply; patrols stepped up statewide
They “cited their education and career interests” as their reason for being there. So it was a field trip, you see. A routine after-midnight field trip. What's the big deal? "7 Caught Trespassing At Quabbin Reservoir; Patrols Stepped Up Across State," from CBS Boston, May 14:
BELCHERTOWN (CBS) – Shortly after midnight Tuesday, seven people were caught trespassing at the Quabbin Reservoir.
State Police say the five men and two women are from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore, and “cited their education and career interests” for being in the area. The men told police they were chemical engineers and recent college graduates.
The Quabbin, in Belchertown, is one of the country’s largest man-made public water supplies. Boston’s drinking water comes from the Quabbin and the Wachusett Reservoirs.
State Police say there were no warrants or advisories on any of the individuals and “there was no evidence that the seven were committing any crime beyond the trespassing.”
All seven were allowed to leave and will be summonsed to court for trespassing. The FBI is investigating and routine checks of public water supplies have been increased following the incident....

Just a little midnight chemical engineering field trip - rural area near Devens - where coincidentally terrorist #2 (aka flash bang Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is being held) Bureau of Prisons facility FMC Devens at Ft. Devens, MA.
State police alert FBI of trespassers at Quabbin reservoir
Boston Herald
Wednesday, May 15, 2013
Five men and two women are being summonsed into East Hampshire District Court for trespassing at the Quabbin Reservoir in Belchertown — the primary drinking water source of Boston and 40 other communities.
The Springfield office of the FBI is investigating.
The septet, who a state trooper came upon parked in two cars at 12:30 a.m. yesterday morning, said they were chemical engineers and recent college graduates. They told the trooper they wanted to see the Quabbin because of their career interests, according to state police spokesman David Procopio.

When arriving back here from the ROK, I drove around looking at how vulnerable our infrastructure was. That was 1987... The latest "response to suicide bombing incidents" class I took was in 2008, and they were teaching then that incidents like this would start happening here a lot more frequently very soon. Something like 17000 visas from ME Nations to Canada and then to the US over the past 10 years... That's 17000 potential enemy combatants here already... That is before 9/11.
Every single incident like this costs the US Millions if not Billions of dollars in security issues and improving security. It is still only a matter of time until our power, water, communications, are targeted. All we can do is be vigilant, and assess what you have locally that may be a potential target. Water reservoirs, natural gas wells, propane storage tanks, oil storage tanks, communications facilities, banks, malls, the list goes on and on.
Fighting an enemy like this here, IMO, is going to be a hard thing to fight...

00:30 hours water supply rendezvous...nothing to see here

Massachusetts State Police appeal clerk's decision not to issue criminal complaints against alleged Quabbin Reservoir trespassers
By Lori Stabile, The Republican
on June 13, 2013 at 7:23 PM, updated June 14, 2013 at 7:58 AM
State police are appealing a decision by a clerk magistrate not to issue criminal complaints against the group of seven people allegedly found trespassing at the Quabbin Reservoir after hours last month.
The seven people, recent college graduates originally from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Singapore, were found just after midnight on May 14. All said they studied chemical engineering and were at the Quabbin because it was in line with their education and career interests, state police said.
The log from May 14 at the state police barracks at the Quabbin only shows a log entry of "trespass" at 00:30 hours with an area blacked out.

What does them being chem eng students have to do with not pursuing trespassing charges against them? If anything it clearly shows they're scoping out the area with intent to poison the water or let someone else know how to do it. In any event, we might as well use our Patriot Act and lock them up and see who they've recently communicated with about this water supply.

Checking on their metadata might offend CAIR.
Checking on your metadata seems A-OK.
An after midnight muslim chemical engineer meet-and-greet - in the middle of nowhere - at one of the areas largest public water supplies -- not at all suspicious.
Perhaps the no trespassing signs were written in cursive (nope, just checked...written in block print) well, these chemical geeks only had undergrad degrees.

Screw it.
Let them poison a couple thousand people in Mass and see if the next clerk is so forgiving.
Eventually, those of us remaining will throw the rule book away and get medieval on their asses.
