18c you have a point but the Revolution was another time completely. I think if confiscation were ordered that you would get maybe 1% that would rather fight. Now that may spark more to fight..... Ah hell what's left of my brain hurts just thinking about it

Percentage that actually FOUGHT in the Rev War?
I wonder what percentage of Americans FOUGHT in the Revolutionary war???[/QUOTE]
SF18C is right; only a small percentage actually spoke out against the King and even fewer fought.
Discussing this at work yesterday, some believe we are being brought to the door step of internal armed conflict on purpose. Just getting to this stage will allow Dear Leader to invoke special powers to preserve the Union.
The 2A fight is very public, but is also the bouncing ball we are watching. Keep an eye on the financial, commerce and medical fights that are brewing. All are a part of an emerging battle plan. Uncle Joe is just carrying out one CONOP. Many Gubmint agencies are working on activities to help disarm Americans. Whether it is ATF looking to make military calibers illegal, harder than lead illegal; EPA and lead in the enviornment; CDC/ HHS with lead and chemical (gun powder) in the home.
They are loading this up with as much junk as they can, like a mass attack across the Western Front, so that something will get through.
If the ideas being floated are in the Dims game plans, we have a fight. When they are done, the Union will look very different, in the form of how the Gubmint operates.
Encouraged by the huge spike in NRA membership, I also believe many will choose to surrender before any fight materializes. So is human nature and the way of the flock.

White House Petition
Out of curiosity, I looked up the petitions on the White House's website. Yesterday, a newly created petition imploring the White House to forego an EO to restrict the 2nd Amendment was created.
I realize I may be tilting at windmills, but I feel an inherent obligation that my signature makes that list. At this time, 22k more signatures are needed to make it an official petition. Please take a moment and share this with your friends and family. Hopefully, with your help, we can keep TS from having to sip his morning coffee while standing in some wannabe Gov't gun snatcher's pool of blood and we can save JimP a few cents on his light bill.
The Petition

Ya gotta like a state that pretty much keeps a buckin' bronc for their identity.

I understand they don't meet that often, hence they tend to save effort for important stuff.

I just wish I hadn't waited so long to try and finish my only AR. Now I sit here with a perfectly good lower and no uppers to be found.
If they want my AR well..... They can have it. I'm a cowboy gun fan anyway
