Always sad to hear when a sailor / soldier dies. At least two positive notes:
1. Mission was successful.
2. BHO spoke respectfully of the SEAL & didn't take any credit for the mission.

I don't know about ya'll, but I'm a little bit tired of our guys getting hurt/killed out looking for idjits who have no freakin' business being there in the first place. I'm glad the good doctor was rescued. I'm terribly saddened that one of ours was killed doing so.

Just give it time. I am sure he will find some way to take credit.

EXACTLY. Hey wait...maybe Anderson Cooper will go, get captured, and we can just let the State Department handle it.

The Department of Defense identified the {sailor}* as Petty Officer 1st Class Nicolas Checque, 28, of Monroeville (PA), and said he was assigned to "an East Coast-based Naval Special Warfare unit."

RIP, Sailor.

* I refuse to call this SEAL a "victim".

So sick of the Anonymous Officials...

I was going to rant and rave about this, but all I want to say is I'm so freaking sick of the Anonymous Officials who feel compelled to release sensitive and/or classified data.

RIP brother! Prayers to his family and mates.
