My 'sig-oth' and I, both in our 60's, pondered on what to call each other to friends, etc. 'Girlfriend' and 'boyfriend' sounded so, well, so 'junior high'! I settled on calling her 'my special lady friend' and she calls me 'my man'! I like it.

I believe that SF is a 'calling' - not too different from the calling missionaries I know received. I knew instantly that it was for me, and that I would do all I could to achieve it.
