Think that's what separates the really good doctor's from the regular ones, it ain't just science. Caring and the right words with meaning can do a lot.

Much better Happy thought than a t-bone...

Kinda hits home, got a ret navy pilot buddy who's going through a rough time this past year. T-Strong for those here that may know him.

Good job doc!

Both, more than likely. May he continue to get stronger and continue his fight.

All good in the world.
Congrats on the retirement!! I thank the good Lord every day for the men and women like you who make it possible for the rest of us to sleep soundly at night. If you are ever swinging thru Iowa drop me a message I would be proud to meet you.

Ah, Brotherly Love...

My 10 y/o son, proud owner of a new air-soft rife, considered his target practice options today. He has decided that he'll practice hitting a stationary target until he's mastered it. Then he'll move on to firing at a moving target. His bright idea for a moving target? Have older brother hold it and run.

Life with boys is never dull.

In honor of my brother's birthday today I bought myself a Sony 32" flat screen TV.

And mailed someone some Thin Mint GS cookies.

Down here in Arizona we like to use Illegal Aliens as some of them can move at exceptional speeds! Lacking IA's I'd opt for a old tire with a cardboard target in the center and roll it down a slight incline.

My happy thought of the day is I get my new commuting bike tomorrow. Problem is, that means I have no excuse not to bike to work 22.1 miles each way; especially now that the weather is amazing! I didn't miss winter at all this year!

My father's first check a week after his heart surgery went fine. The slight "pumphead" symptoms he experienced are now completely gone. He's making huge leaps forward.
Looks like the old man's gonna stay around for a while still.

Great idea, TS, sir. I'll suggest my budding sharp-shooter rig up something similar. Thanks!

Only thing better might be an IA inside a rolling tire.

Daughter comin' home for Easter, got back from 'Stan trip #5 last night. And since everyone loves GS cookies, instead of enjoying them downrange from the (almost mailed) care package, she can flounce around on the sofa with the remote and a big glass of milk instead.
