My dad obituarie
I would like to clarify something on my Father's obituarie, James Boone Tinner and John Boone Tinner, are stepsons and Catherine Elizebeth Foster is a stepdaughter. George Glen Petrie and Alicia Petrie Anduha are his son and daughter. Kay Boone Tinner is a EVIL person and does not have the right to bare the Petrie name. My mother Katherine S. Petrie was the true military wife and the true Special Forces wife.

George was laid to rest today amid a strong retired and active duty SF presence. The eulogy by Ross Perot was good, but the remarks delivered by his son (a USBP veteran of over 20 years) were some of the best I have ever heard delivered.
There were a number of us from this BB in attendance.
Attached are a couple of pics.
RIP, George.

Sat next to Richard, and I concur that George's Son's remarks were unreal.
The fact that Ross was there, was a MAJOR statement in itself, but when he was requested to speak and did, then it became AWESOME!!
The "Get Together" after it all, in Arlington (Tx), was really a Hoot. Saw many Brothers that I hadn't seen for years and there were quite a few of the "younger guys" that turned out!! Good to see the "Younger Brothers" joining in with us FOGS.
Me'thinks that I need to become more active in the SFA.
Take care.
Martin

I'll concur with Richard and Martin..Glen's eulogy was extremely well done and heartwarming for all in attendance..I had a chance to talk with Ross Perot and he told me had he known he was going to be asked to speak he would have written down something to say...He didn't need to write anything down, his comments were awsome...Great send off for an awsome Warrior and friend..RIP George..
