My happy thought of the Day

Kiowa's who check in right when you need that helping-hand. Like angels on your shoulder.

After two babies in two years, finally spent a day at the range with my beautiful wife. Just the two of us. Her first time shooting a rifle, too. Only thing better than seeing her bursting with anticipation on the way there was the utter satisfaction and signs of addiction she displayed on the way home ("Can we go back next weekend?!"). I'm sure her jaws are sore now after smiling so hard for so long.

Yet another part of life that we can enjoy together.

Seeing our second child born at the heels of the first. Welcome to a crazy world; my suggestion is to make your way over to the Be Prepared thread and take notes. For today we are going to start with The Night Eagles Soared and Philippians chapter 4. Mom and the babies are great. Dad is humbled.

Congrats TL! I'm glad to hear mom and babies are all doing well. Prayers and good wishes to you all!

I've got a set of twins myself - enjoy!

Thank you.

Thank you all for the well wishes. Thank you also to the great medical staff that made this as smooth as possible all things considered. Two surgeons did an especially great job to save the day after mom had some complications today. Again, thank you all for the well wishes and prayers. This community has been such an excellent source of information and I know there will be many lessons passed on to the little ones from ps.com.

I was just out working in the garage and heard the unmistakeable sound of radial engines - looked out and flying by was a B-24 being escorted by a MkVlll Spitfire and P-51 Mustang obviously on their way to do a 'fly over' at a Veterans Day event somewhere in the area.

A huge perk of living around here near the Addison Airport and the Cavanaugh Flight Museum!

Made me smile, anyway.

Found some hidden treasure

So today I was procrastinating as usual from finishing up my research paper and decided to browse around the university library. I end up finding, completely by accident, a huge stash of the Army's Special Warfare journal/magazine. Talk about some good reading.

I dont think I will ever get this paper written . . .
