My thoughts are for the clerk. I hope he does well and this does not effect him too much. BTW, good shooting.
The parents should have gotten involved much earlier.

I watched a video of this shooting. It looked like the store keeper took at least two hits in the abdomen as he was bleeding from two places. Hope he heals rapidly and he ought to get a medal for helping clean the gene pool.

Yep, I agree. I am so sick of the blame being put on
1. Movies
2. Internet
3. Video Games
4. Violence on TV
5. Schools
6. Friends

I'd say some of the blame falls on the 14-year old too.

Doc,
Agree with you, sir. But to take a life at 14, and not give two thoughts about it, as this young man obviously diddn't, says something to me about parenting, or for better use, what parenting??? 
Can only speak for my own upbringing, but, if my bro or twin sis was hanging out with "bad" folks, I would of damn well tell one of my parents.
Come hell or highwater, One of our Parents were "the" lawmakers. Period.
Maybe times have just...changed???

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Having said that, 14-year-olds should know right from wrong.

What the hell do you think is going to happen if you go into a liquor store and start shooting a gun at someone?
Most of the towel head convenience store owners I know don't screw around, especially the Seiks. The Korean businessmen are pretty mean too.
I'm putting most of the blame on the parents for raising a sociopath.
I hope the cashier doesn't get in any trouble over this.
