New

Hi new to the thread here, ex Marine 0341 mortarman just had a quick question, I was inquiring about the average age to go to SFAS. I am currently 30 and what I consider exellent mental and physcial shape. I am close to signing a contract with the guard specifically to go to Special Forces. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

You will receive a warmer and more thorough response if you introduce yourself in the proper place, use the search button and read the stickies first.

Who the hell wants to be "average"?

That being said, a simple search of "average age SFAS" reveals...
http://www.professionalsoldiers.com/...erage+age+SFAS

Don't say I never did anything for you.

Age is not a factor to me just wondering if my age will determine my fate into SFAS.

The answer is in that thread I linked to. You need to read more.

Determined your fate? They wouldn't send guys over 30 to SFAS if that it was pre-determined they would not be selected. Just do your best and your fate will be determined on the last day.

Todd:

You need to follow the simple instructions given to do more reading and less posting.

The Search button is your friend, especially before starting new threads.

As with most internet forums where competent advice is issued, we do not have the time to constantly repeat ourselves.

Do me a favor and let me know how many hits you get when you type ""age" into the Search window.

Best of luck.
