The WASPs trained here in Sweetwater, Texas (about half way between Abilene and Midland where the Commemorative Air Force is located) and hold their reunions just north of Dallas in Denton - their official archives are held in the library of the Texas Womans University - I've met a couple of them and they're awesome.
