I am not an expert with vodka, but I have read and been told by several vodka connoisseurs that Grey Goose Vodka is a definite cut above other vodkas such as Smirnoff or Silent Sam. For something different, check out Blavod vodka as it is black in colour which makes drinks aesthetically different.
But if you had to go with only one vodka, the following would definately be the one you want.
