Hi everyone,

my name is Nathan.
Right now I am trying to join the 19th in Utah. I am hoping to get a waiver for jump school. A couple of old injuries are slowing things down.
I am also looking for people to train with here in the Phoenix area.
Thanks to those who have organized this website and kept it professional.

John

My name is John. I am in the civilian sector, and manufacture custom military/LE gear in my garage for a very small customer base. I don't plan on posting much, just learning what I can as I lurk.

Introduction

Hello all.

My name is Foots. I am a member of 2-20th SFG(A). I have been with the unit for 7 years. I enjoy my occupation, and the many adventures that my job has introduced me to, has made me much of the man I am today. I thank you for giving me the opportunity to join this forum and the benifits that go along with it. I look forward to sharing what little knowledge I have gained over the years and also to become a more well educated individual by the absorbtion of information that is available on this site.

Thanks!

Introduction

Hello Everyone...

My name is Torres and I've been a lurker here for a while so it seems about time that I finally introduce myself. My SF time was spent with 11th SF from 1979 until 1986. I was a rep 63 with no prior service that enlisted as a medic. I went through SFQC and returned to B211 after completing same. I'm currently working as the clinical director for an aeromedical transport service called STAT MedEvac in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I was told about this forum by friends on the SFList email group, several of whom are also on this forum. My PMOS was 18D but was originally 91B3S until SF became its' own branch. My civilian profession is registered nursing. I still have a few friends that are out there in the active and NG groups but more of my contemporaries are either senior NCO's or are retired now.

B211SF

Company B, 2nd BN of the 11th was located in Youngstown, Ohio and BN HQ was located in Columbus, Ohio. BCO moved after the 11th cased it's guidon in 1994. The company became part of the 19th Group Ohio ARNG.

We had a lot of good guys there.

Thanks and welcome.

I had to go read up. I was in for over 24 years and for the life of me, and I apologize, I don't ever remember even hearing anything of the 11th. sorry, Blitzzz

11th Group

11th and 12th SF Groups were the two USAR SF Groups that were shut down in the 90's by the Clinton Gang. I'm pretty sure that we were the only combat units in the USAR as all of the others are in combat support roles.
