Welcome SD

SD I'm a life time SF guy with a couple of tours outside SF. Once as a combat engineer Squad ldr ,and years later as a Platoon SGt with A Mech Combat Engineer co. (one year there) I really enjoyed both tours and learned much. I was a very different PltSgt because I never left SF in my mindset. I would be glad to talk about anything you wish in that arena. Gentlemen,
I've been in the guard for about 4 years, the last 3 as an O. I just finished up as a PL in a rifle co and was recently accepted to the training team, 2/19 SFG with the WV guard. Glad to have this site and the individuals on it as another tool to help me through the journey.

v/r,
Matt

Hello all,
My name is Josh and I have been reading on this forum for nearly a year and a half. I just recently graduated Infantry OSUT in august. I am a cadet at Sam Houston State University and I plan to branch Infantry. I drill with a Guard unit here in Huntsville, TX with a STB and I am currently in the process of transferring to an Infantry unit in Palestine, TX. I am here to learn.
To our soldiers in theater: Godspeed.

Greetings...

My name is Joseph, I'm a Veteran Aviation Ordnanceman of the United States Navy. I did two years of duty onboard the USS Nimitz (CVN-68) and two years onbaord the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6) 03-07. I spent a year outside the military in the civilian world..."Didn't care for it." I decided to follow my fathers footsteps and join the Army as an Infantryman, but when I got to the mep's station there wasn't any 11x MOS positions open. I did qualify for the 18x MOS program and jumped all over it. I'm a well diciplined 23yr old man, and I'm looking forward to shipping out to Fort Sill on DEC 30, 2008 for the Warrior Transition Course, then it's off to Advanced Infantry School and so on...I would like to thank all the Quiet Professionals for making this site possible, the amount of information I gained in a few hours is incredible.

Thanks!!!

And MayGod Bless You All!!!

Just thought I'd reintroduce myself since I haven't been on here for a while. I've been in for a couple years now. I am originally from Indiana. I am a S2 clerk/intel analyst at BN level. Just spent a year in Korea and now back in the States down in GA.

Hey, my name is Corey. I found this site from a friend of my father who is in 3rd group. Myself, I will be leaving January 22 for Benning under an 18x contract. I have already learned quite a lot from here and hope to continue to do so.

Hello all,

My name is Mike, I'm an 18x-ray starting the Q-course. I'm just trying to always put my best foot forward, which is why im joining this site. I like to learn and educate myself as much as I can. It most certainly appears as though this is the place to do so. Hopefully, in about a years time, with god willing and some hard work, I will become a part of the brotherhood.

Thank you all

Hows it going guys, I'm a former USMC infantry Sergeant, left AD in April to attend school in DC. The experience has been good, but has made clear what my goals are. In the process of getting a prior service 18X contract hashed out, just here to look and learn. Cheers.

Welcome

Welcome aboard Marine. I've had the honor of having had a couple of Marine retreads in SF and they were great friends and Team members. Blitzzz

Hello Gentlemen,

I am an 18x, 21 years old, and shipping out the summer of 2009 after I graduate college. I have an incredible amount of respect for the Quiet Professionals, and I will never quit as long as I am working towards or have acquired that same title. Much thanks to those of you who established and contribute to this site, as it is a remarkable resource. I look forward to learning more.
