Introduction
Greetings QP's and forum members,
First off I would like to say, I met some QP's while I was down range and have the highest amount of respect for those men.
I stumbled upon this website all of 10 months ago and have been reading ever since. I have not had the desire to post until now. Within the last 10 months I have learned that the search button is your friend.
I have read the book "Get Selected for Special Forces" sold by the Warrior Mentor website and recommend it to anyone who has entertained the thought for any amount of time.
Thanks to all the QP's who have created this website and the knowledge available possible to those aspiring such as myself.

Let me start off by saying that my name is Kyle and I am now a contracted x-ray candidate (18x) with a 20Jan09 ship date to Benning for OSUT. I'm 21 years old (22 in March) and serving with the country's finest warriors is the only thing I've ever wanted to do with my life. I have never been a quitter and going home without a cast or tab isn't acceptable. I strongly believe in the ideal that it is given to a few to sacrifice for the good of many, and you all deserve the utmost respect for the sacrifices you have made. I simply cannot wait to begin the process and I'm looking forward to the challenge. Thanks for your service and God willing I might meet some of you soon.

Introduction
Hello all. I am retired from active and reserve Army. I served and became Q'd with the 12th SFG. I served there from '80-'90 in various positions including as a team commander in B/1/12. I was made aware of this site as a result of the notice of the death of COL Jack Moroney, one of my bosses and inspirations. A very sad day for me. I retired in '99 and volunteered for recall in '01 right after 9/11. Went back on active duty in '06 and served as MiTT Executive Officer in Mosul Iraq, returning in January to retire once more. Sorry i didn't do the introduction initially as required, i was a bit shocked and overwhelmed at COL Jack's death and then on the road for a bit, so therefore the delay. Thanks for having me aboard.

Having been suitably smoked for my first post without an intro here I am!
I've been lurking and learning for a few months. It's like drinking from a firehose. Discovered the site shortly after my nephew enlisted for the 18X program. He is currently at Ft. Benning for basic.
Me? Nothing exciting. Ex-USAF E-5, served 1962-1966. AFSC C30650C if that means anything at all to anyone here. Now living vicariously through my nephew.
Thanks for your service, the great info and for being here.

introduction
I am 26 years old, born and raised in Wyoming, educated at the university here, and am greatful for being an American. I am in talks with my recruiter to join the Air Force. I got a 92 on my asvab. Still, I am in debt and it might be a battle just to get in. What ever I do I want to make a difference. Hope to learn a lot, and find a place to channel my energy.

Introductions III
I'm a Reserve Coastie, PO1, assigned to a PSU. AT/FP, filling a Corpsman's slot. I'm lurking in the Medics section to pick up tips.
Again, apologies for posting in the wrong lane.

Do not blame your cat for your short falls. Be an adult and just say I messed up and move on. Now you are going to catch a lot of SHIT for such a lame post.
This is not my space or military dot com so read, search and read more like the intro e-mail said and you may survive. Go and do pushups and read all the stickies.....

Welcome, Telecustom, and thank you for your service. You are definitely working for a great organization. And say hello to your BN CSM for me (he will know my call sign). He and I have stomped a lot of the same ground over the years.

Introduction
I am a 34 year old husband and father of a 4 month old girl. As a day job I work as an attorney in Washington DC. I have no military service. I spent a brief stint at VHA headquarters in Washington. I registered to use the search feature and I'm content to be neither seen or heard from, but gain knowledge from the professionals on the forum.
