Non prior service citizen here. I'm a Southerner by birth who currently work in New York City in finance.

I enjoy reading the board to quietly observe and learn from men of great wisdom and patriotism.

brief intro

I felt it wrong to not introduce myself since I come here often and enjoy the readings. I am a retired 18a coming through 18x. I know an x'er but the guys I worked with got over it. I left in 02 and was with the 5th. I really don't post here but enjoy the reading.

Introduction

Gentlemen,

I have been lurking here for awhile and recently shared/posted some info on here and was busted out for being delinquent for not putting up an introduction. So here goes;

I am a retired commo sergeant, spent most of my time at Ft. Bragg or Panama. I have deployed to the former 1K Zone in the DDR, Honduras, Panama, Iraq 90 and 2004. I am still involved with military communications. In my spare time I enjoy motorcycles and long range data communications. Please send me a PM if you want or need more information.

Greetings & Salutations

Jayson here and I would like to introduce myself to everyone on the board. Although I am not part of the Special Forces community, I do have some (underline that some) military 'experience' as an infantry officer in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve. I do read about the Special Forces whenever I can and am fascinated by it.
For some reason I have taken a great interest in survival skills and have made attempts to hone them. I enjoy the outdoors and have recently purchased new kit to allow me to pursue this activity. I hope that by reading the postings from this site and asking the right questions, I will gain new knowledge that will help me better my survival skills. Thank you.

Hello all

My name is Chris. I'm currently AD Navy as a Gunner's Mate (similar to a 45B). I have been in close to four years. I went to BUD/S and decided that particular program wasn't for me. My EAOS is coming up very soon and I'm looking at transitioning to the NG back home in Alaska until I get my degree. From there we'll see. I'm very interested in SF and have been doing a lot of research but things could certainly change in the next couple of years.

Intro...

My name is Andrew. I am currently serving with 2SCR stationed out of Vilseck, Ge. I have been in the Army just under 2 years and in the military for just over 7 years. I am currently prepping myself to reenlist with the option to reclass from 11B to 18E. I hope to gain as much information as I can before I leave for SFAS.

My name is George, and I served in the military from 2003-2007, and now I'm engaged in school full-time, and various jobs part-time to supplement my income. I'm very interested in Latin America, and the area politics, and I want to continue to support those who choose to serve. I'm also becoming more conscious of lax child protection laws, and I've joined the Political Action Committee for children, "Protect" to hopefully remedy this situation. I think most people would agree allowing someone who rapes a baby to be on probation, and expecting a person capable of such behavior to report where they live is insane. I'm mostly here to find book recommendations, and insight from those who served in LATAM, particularly Sneaky, and Jimbo from Socnet. Thanks for the site, and your continued professionalism.

Regards,
George

Introduction

Hello from across the water. I am greatful to be here to read and learn.
I have a current interest in long range competition shooting and tactical shooting and am enjoying the benefits of the search engine.

I have some limited service with our Territorial Army but it was short and brief. I have a few lasting injuries as momento's to make up for it......

I'm a full time swat officer for a large metropolitan police department. I served in Iraq in a light infantry recon platoon as an assistant squad leader and sniper team leader. I joined this site because I am always seeking information from different sources on work related topics. I appreciate the opportunity to learn from a deep pool of experience here.
