Gentlemen,

My name is Ryan, and I'm not SF. I've actually been MI my whole career. Been in the Army for almost 14 years now, but am always learning.

I have my WOCS date, and should be a WO1 by August. Wish me luck!

Hello Gentleman,
I'm a current student at a County College interested in the SF lifestyle and aspiring to one day earn the right to serve alongside the Quiet Professionals as an 18 Bravo.

I'd also like to thank all the Quiet Professionals and men in the service on this forum for what they do, thank you.

Hello all,

I found this site from another site actually. I'm in L.E., but I've never served. I'm just here to read and learn. Thank you all for all that you do, every day. God Bless.

Introduction

I have been quiet here; listening and learning for a little while. But, I was recently reminded that I had no profile, so I added that to the site today. I found this site while doing some research on knives after discussing the topic with my son-in-law who is serving in the 101st at Fort Campbell, and has completed 2 tours in Iraq. While I have not personally served, and now later in life I regret the missed opportunity, I do my best to directly support the solder in my family, and indirectly wherever I find the opportunity. I originally became interested in Special Forces activities for the outward appearances of skill sets, gear, etc. However, I am now more intrigued by the mental rigor and deliberative thinking of those that are the likes of this group.

I thank you for the opportunity to be a small part of this organization.

Thumbs up CHERRY MEMBER

greetings team Sergeant:

I served as a Wps/sgt and late on part of the cadre in the " JOTC, Ft. Sherman, Panama with C 3/7 SFGA (81-86). Well, once you live this lifestyle, you will never get disconnected from it. I'm looking foward to get updated and if possible to contribute with my knowledge in jungle ops, I understand that todays scenario it's all Sand and Rocks but you never know. I still well motivated and if you ever decided to come down to Puerto Rico, I will be your advisor or better said, your tour guide. Currently, I'm a Risk Manager for the PR Insurance Industry, a Freemason, Divemaster, Hunter, and one day my first and only grandson will become an SF Operator in some ODA, to carry on with the SF legacy I started in my family.

Gentlemen,

My name is Mattison XXXXX. I have been lurking this site for some time, getting a feel for the members and researching information about the SF lifestyle. I am 25 years old and 100% whole-heartedly convinced that this is the life for me. I did not come to this decision hastily but through a couple years of research and prayer. I have signed for the 18X contract and ship out 9 July 2008. I am determined to one day be a "Quiet Professional" and have the honor and privilege of wearing the Green Beret. For now I am focused on BCT, then OSUT, and then ABN etc. One day at a time, One step at a time!

No need for full names on the net sluggo; a first name is good enough.

Introductions III

Hello,
I am finally introducing myself. I first joined in '05 but never posted due to not having anything to say. I still have nothing to say, but I have logged in and feel it would be rude to not respond. I'm and 18B in 3rd of the 20th SFG(A). I was in Aco. for several years and deployed with my ODA to OIF. I've worked in the FLNG Counterdrug program on the SR team and FCTA training team for 12 years. I've just recently taken an AGR job as the SOT-D Readiness NCO with 3/20th SFG(A). As the Readiness NCO I would like to recommend the site to our NQPs and my staff.

Sincerely,
SFC W. D.

Thank you for allowing me to lurk here for so long.

I'm a former Marine and future Soldier. I'm a father and husband and I'm damn proud to be both.

Greetings gentlemen,
You have a very informative site and some very helpful members. I am currently in the NG, but am seriously considering going active duty. Unfortunately that move will take me from 10 YIS to 3, but oh well. Before I even put too much thought into that I have to finish my current tour here at Pogadishu. You probably won't hear a whole lot out of me since all my questions have already been answered by this site, "Get Selected", or other research I've done. I still enjoy reading the posts, though. With that I will say thanks for letting me join this site and stay safe out there.
