Greetings!
Greetings to all. I just came on board yesterday and my 24 hr reading period is up, so time to do an intro for my first post. I just happened upon this site while doing a Google search about "The Stolen Valor Act". I am an SF veteran, having earned my "S" in 1970. I was assigned to the 8th SFG at Fort Gulick, Canal Zone. Some of you old timers who spent time in the 8th 1n 1970-71 may have remembered the SF cartoons painted on the walls of Co. B's arms room. I'm the guy that painted them. I've been a member in good standing with the Special Forces Association since 1987 and am one of the founding members of SFA Chapter LV in Michigan. De Oppresso Liber!

Intro
Hey Brothers,
Came across this site by a google search looking for something else. One of the threads caught my eye referance Georg Scott having passed away, very bad news indeed. We spent some time kicking around in 96th just after it turned over to 18 series guys. Georg was a true Brother and he will be missed.
I grew up in 5th from 80-92 (563 & 564) moved over to 96th 92-95, went to 3rd from 95-99 (364), took a diamond job back in 96th and retired out of there. Worked at the RTL and Wpns as a contractor till 04 then went OCONUS. Should be enough info for anyone that knows me to drop me a line.
Take care...... Hope to renew some links

Greetings
Greetings Gentlemen,
I came across the site through Platoon Leader.com but because of my deployment I wasn't able to take full advantage of all the information this site has to offer. I was fortunate to enough to work alongside an ODA from 10th group and I must say that the name Quiet Professionals is well deserved.
I recently was selected for SFAS and my scheduled date is 6-May. I look forward to the challenges ahead as it is the first step to becoming a member of this community and brotherhood.
Thank You for everything that you do for this country!!!!!

My name is Joe and I'm stationed at Ft. Carson. I've been in the army for 8 years and am tentatively slotted for SFAS in June 08. Google was my yellow brick road and I'm here to absorb as much as I can.

Introduction
My name is Dave, I am 26 y/o and serving in the Navy as a SERE Instructor. I am due to depart the Navy in Nov. and am interested in going SF. I probably won't post much, unless it is something I have first hand experience with. Thank you to all those who either have served or are serving, whether conventional forces or unconventional. And good luck to everyone who aspires to serve their country.

Just another newbie
Hello! After utilizing this site for the past year, I decided it was time to join up. I'm currently in SFMS, having just completed SOCM. I'm still some time away from becoming an 18D, but this site and its members have a plethora if knowledge I look forward to tapping in to, and one day hopefully contributing to as well.
I am a prior service E-5 with a little over 6 years, spent 9 months in Central America, and have a medical background prior to my current training. Thanks for allowing me the privilege of joining, and I look forward to learning more.

Good Afternoon,
My name is Eddie, and I would like to thank the good people of this site for the information provided on this site.
The reason for my interest in this site is that accession has given me the opportunity to move forward to SFAS. I will be in read mode for the most part, so off into the woods I go.

greetings
Hi,
I joined a short while ago and have been reading a lot of the threads, but just didn't introduce myself like I should have.
I've been a team leader in 1st Group for about 1 1/2 years now. Totally living the dream!
This is a great site with an unbelievable amount of wisdom. Thanks a lot!

Hello everyone,
I came to this website to learn about Special Forces and the military. Being 15 years old, it won't be too long before I can join the military so I'm trying to get as much info as I can.
I'll try not to be too much of a nuisance but I'm probably gonna ask a few questions.
Oh, and you can call me Jon.

After one of the Echo's that I work with told me about this site I've read quite a few of the threads. Figured it was time to post an intro and start asking some questions. I'll try to exhaust the search button first of course.
