For those with a penchant for The Pogues and Flogging Molly, the recent release by the Young Dubliners, "With All Due Respect", is a good choice, as is Great Big Sea's "Courage & Patience & Grit". The Young Dubliners' renditions of "The Leaving of Liverpool" and "If I Should Fall From Grace With God" are personal favorites from that CD.

I just stumbled upon The Bands' "The Last Waltz" on VH1 the other nite....wow, what great memories and music. It was great to hear that concert again. It was sort of a documentary on their "last waltz".

This is a live performance of "Big White Gate" by Grace Potter and The Nocturnals which recently aired on the excellent all HD commercial free cable channel RAVE-HD. The song, written for her grandmother, is from the Nocturnals new album "This Is Somewhere" on Hollywood Records. Well worth purchasing, as there is not a bad song on it. (Not my comment)
