Calvinball, in theory, could be very strenuous PT. On the other hand, it has the potential to be of zero value. I think he should have clarified the rules before ruling it out completely.

My favorites!

If one soldier has a 2nd Lt bar on his uniform, and I have an E-4 on mine It means he outranks me. It does not mean “I have been promoted three more times than you”. That is what I always thought!

I am not allowed to mount a bayonet on a crew-served weapon. Come now…who wasn’t wanted a bayonet on the end of their sniper rifle…if only for the questions it would pose!!

When saluting a “leg” officer, an appropriate greeting is not "Airborne leads the wa- oh...sorry sir". I actually did that once…not good.

Should not show up at the front gate wearing part of a Russian uniform, messily drunk.

Even if my commander did it. Or my team XO while we were in Bosnia!

Never, ever, attempt to correct a Green Beret officer about anything. Damn Straight Skippy!!!

But that is both the beauty and conundrum of Calvinball: the rules evolve/mutate throughout play of the game, depending on players and/or the levels of creativity.

Except for the masks, one doesn't question the masks.

Came upon this searching for "security clearance"...

My favorite: Don't ask LTC Steele to sign my copy of Blackhawk Down.

HAHA!

Thanks for posting.

Edit: Here's a pretty good addendum by some AF guy - http://michaelzwilliamson.com/rants/skippylist.php

53. I may not hand someone an extra grenade pin and ask, "Did you lose this?" as a practical joke.

There's an AF guy out there that not only recognizes a grenade pin, but understands its function?

Sp4 Doofus: "LT, I'm goin' up to see the General".

Me: "Doofus, get the hell out of here".

Guess where Doofus went and how long it took the CWO sitting outside the General's office to call me.
