It amazes me, to no end, that any politician can say something like this, get caught, and still be in the running. It amazes me...

I have heard Bush "mis-speak" plenty of times over the course of his Presidency. Usually tripping over a word, or omitting a word, or mixing a word up. Happens all the time. I do it all the time.

Doesn't say much about our Nation, as a whole, does it...? This is me, during the election:  and watching predator, over, and over, and over... Since there is no "None of the above" block on the ballot... What's the point?

Same with Hillary. They're both terrible. They both have this in common - The Gov't can solve all problems - any problems. Big Brother is the answer for everything. Gov't solves our school problems, our banking problems, our healthcare problems, our environmental problems, our economic problems, our communities' problems, our racial problems...and...and...and...ad infinitum. To win among the Democrats you MUST be comfortable with lies and half-truths or you don't stand a chance. The Republicans aren't much better, but they are better. The French philosopher DeTocqueville said America's Democracy would truly be in danger when the citizens resorted to voting themselves all the goodies from the national treasury - The people controlling the purse is Democracy's fatal conceit. It will probably kill us. What's scary is that we're getting close to that reality today - I'm not sure if the current system is sustainable for another 20 years like this. HRC "SWIFTBOATED"
Guys,
The latest term being bantered around is that HRC is--like JF Kerry--being "swiftboated" over her recollections of her grand Balkans adventure. The dilemma here is that swiftboating is a term formerly used by Dems in an attempt to counter the anti-JFK crowd in the last national elections and, although their view was that it was a term for an attack on their man's character through innuendo and half-truths, it turned out to be true and sank JFK's campaign. HRC has now run into the same problem with the being under sniper fire statement...but a book isn't necessary here...it just takes a couple of minutes to watch this footage of her and Chelsea reacting to sniper fire.

After watching this video, I have to assume they were under fire from those damn Chinese sniper stealth rounds they were selling Sadam Hussein...until he realized they had absolutely no affect on Occidentals and he went back to trading with the French!

In my opinion she sure as hell is not being "swiftboated", she's having her ass handed to her for f***ing lying by pissed off veterans.
So the democrats are now going to use the term swiftboated everytime the members of the United States military are pissed off at them for lying?

I disagree. She is being swiftboated in that her "word of honor"--just like JF Kerry's--is being sunk by the fallacy of her own wannabe "hero" stories. I'm only surprised that she hasn't yet arranged for someone in the DNC to give her some kind of award for her self-reported valorous act. I'm sure America's "first black President" was working on that one until she got caught with her hand in the political cookie jar of "mistatements."

We need a leader that is a good mix of:
1. John Wayne
2. Ronald Reagan
3. Clint Eastwood
4. Lee Marvin
5. Aude Murphy
6. Chuck Norris
7. Charles Bronson
8. Robin Williams (a president gotta have a senseof humor)
Any ideas?
I'd vote for anyone that came close to any of the above. Who picks these canidates, anyway?
