Hello
I'm Morgan. I had considered SF before, but since I'm a female it isn't exaclty possible. I really enjoy your alls site; lots of info for civilians looking into the job and its interesting (not to mention a good humor). Thank you to all who serve, I know that freedom don't come free. Whether its the NG or AF, in a few years I plan to be a wearing uniform of the United States military.
Thanks again,
patrioticgirl
This will be my first and last post, since in the rules it discourged folks under the age of 17 to post and I joined to read information (and there is a lot on this site!).

FNG
I'm a commo guy by trade and stumbled on this site while searching the net. So far it has been a great resource. I've been doing the job for about 15 years now and most of that in LRS units. I took a 3 year break from tactical comms but am back in the game now so the E threads will be my hangout.
I look forward to learning as much as I can.

Greetings. . .
Found the site via google while looking for information on CCW holsters, decided to stick around and lurk a bit. Used to be an Air Force cop until they killed that career field. Did 6 years and out, now I play with cars. I'm starting to get in to shooting again (I shot EPP in Europe), so maybe I'll see some of you at the range.

SF brat reporting in. Senior in high school.
Dad's SF, I want to be, hence I'm here. Not much more to it other than a huge desire.
Great resource here.
Thanks! One day I'll have "Quiet Professional" next to my name...

Welcome all.
There are a few of you that need to re-read the welcome message you received when you joined the site.

Hello, I'm 19 years old, will be 20 in a few months. Just registered to find out all the necessary information through research. I'm in my 2nd year of college. I seek to join the Army after I graduate either through the enlisted or OCS route. SF is one of the branches that I'm interested in. Thank you.

Greetings all. I found this site through snipershide.com in search of some quality info on SF; From what I have seen so far I am enjoying my stay.
A little background about me: I served four years in the army as a 14E (Patriot Air Defense) and left after my enlistment completely dissatisfied. A lot of that was due to the fellow soldiers in my unit who were either over-weight, unmotivated, or just total dirt bags that only assisted in bringing down the morale of the rest of the troop. Lest I forget a few certain leaders I had that didn't help matters much either. I did manage to earn the rank of Sergeant and attended Air Assault and PLDC, so my time was not spent completely in vain.
So to catch up to present day, I have been working jobs here and there for the past 2 years and trying to get the most out of civilian life that I can, attending college as well. However, I have been throwing around the decision of re-enlisting as an 18X for the past 3-4 years of my life, and I've finally decided I want to do it. After so much soul searching, I believe it is what I am meant to do in life, and I will put every ounce of dedication and motivation I have into it.
Lastly, one of my buddies I came up through the ranks with (E1 to E5) is in SERE school as I type this, and he's been giving me info and helping to fuel my motivation.
That about sums it up for now, I hope I didn't waste to much of your time for you to read this. I'll chime in if I feel I have something productive to add. (Which given the amount of information here, I doubt that will happen for awhile.)
BTW: I have been playing the guitar for 10 years as well, obviously that would be my number one thing to do in life, but it doesn't quite pay out so well unless you are extremely lucky.
