Mossimo's Intro
My short and simple introduction is I'm an E5, 25 years old, and have been enlisted in the National Guard for six years. My most recent deployment was in Northern Iraq with the 20th SFG. While there I quickly learned that I didn't want to spend my whole career in a GSC support role. Not that support roles are not important, I just have a drive to do more with my life. I'm also thinking about going active duty. For me it's all in God's hands.

Hello everyone. I'm an E3, age 22, original MOS is 18X, training MOS is 18D, language assigned is Tagalog, and I just completed SFAS. I am heading to CLT in the next couple of days. A friend of mine recommended this site to me, as I was unaware of its existence, and I have to say that this forum is more helpful than many of our cadre. Thanks for all that you do.

To introduce myself, I am an Infantry Squad Leader, currently deployed to Iraq. Before this, spent awhile in Afghanistan. I have been in the army for 8 years, most of it on Airborne status, before I found myself on orders to leg land, but I will be changing that ASAP. I've enjoyed lurking around this site, and don't intend to do much more than that. Thanks to everyone for all the information here!

Yes, the same sfalphageek
Razor,
Yes, I'm the guy who writes the blog. I haven't been posting lately - for a variety of reasons, I didn't want to post while I was deployed. I've been back for a while now, and will probably start working on the blog again soon.
Again, thanks for the opportunity to visit.

Hello Special Forces Soldiers, Servicemen, and civilians,
My name is Kevin, I am a Junior in High School and play rugby, water polo and swim competitively. I have been lurking around the site for some time; I registered in the event that I should have a question pertaining to a specific topic not found by google or another form of searching. I have always wanted to participate in the medical field, first-responder/trauma especially, and I feel that I should strive to serve amongst the best, for the best.
I am willing to answer any questions one might ask, so feel free.
Kevin.

I'm Brach, I'm currently 20 and still 20-25 pounds over enlistment requirement.
I'm enlisting within the next few months for 31B. I've always wanted to be an elite soldier and hopefully I'll get my chance.

Hi all - was in C-1-1 way back in the late 80s early 90s (God, I'm old). Stayed in Asia after I got out and only recently back in the US. Good to see a few of my old team on the board. Best,
Matt

18xray
Greetings from, yet another, 18x.
My user name speaks for itself. I know 18x's get are a dime a dozen, thats why I dont boast it. Humility gets you further in life anyways.
I am currently an 18xray and I ship out for basic 2008/1/15, followed by the usual prereq training required before SFAS. I feel honored to have a coveted 18 MOS next to my name, but I also realize that the Xray position isn't the hardest thing to come by if you have decent, above average intelligence.......and that the work hasn't even begun to occur.
However, my aspirations are high. There isnt a quit bone in my body And staying in shape and self motivation is what I am able to pride myself with.
And its an honor to be associated with SF, let alone the Army in general.
That being said, I'll keep this short for the simple fact that is just an introduction forum. Feel free to look at my profile, send me a PM, or tell me if I left anything out.
Respectfully,
-Lakin
