RTK, search for "bourbon" here -- there are some fans of it here and we have had some discussions.

jatx, are you trying to get me in trouble? LOL But it is true that I get to the Bay Area frequently on business, so it is not out of the question. I did suggest to Catwoman that we go if the kids are up to it, so we'll see . . .

I prefer to sip it on special occasions, not swill it all at once.

It sits beside a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle's and another of Booker's.

I drink the Knob Creek and Maker's Mark on regular occasions.

Outstanding! No time like the present to influence their tastes!

Research complete.

When you get to come out to Kentucky for that trip (if you haven't already) you have an open invitation to stop by. We'll hit the Maker's Mark distillery. You can dip a bottle in the wax at the end of the tour and take it home (obviously, for a price).

Hey, Hey !! I've already got an upscale hotel room for RL when and if he ever gets here to the Blue Grass state of Kentucky.

After the Makers tour, then I've got seats in the clubhouse for Churchill Downs. Assuming we make it after the tour of the Makers distillery.
