I just recently puchased a standard M4 upper from DelTon and am very pleased with it. I was able to get exceptional quality at an affordable price with outstanding customer service. I will most definately be a repeat customer of theirs and will reccomend them to anyone in the market for an AR platform.
I have had it for two months now and put 1000rnds of 55gr Wolf ammo through it without a single malfunction due to the rifle (I did have one magazine crap out on me, a GI mag that was old and had a feed lip cracked).
On a side note, I understand that using wolf ammo is not looked upon highly on this site, but unfortunately its all that I can afford on my budget if I want to get the range time that I feel is necessary to maitain tactical and technical proficiency with my rifles. I am sorry and when I can afford better I will use better. I would rather use crappy ammo than not shoot at all.
