I was a dial-up dude for a long time...wife ordered wireless when we moved to our new place...now I'm hooked...it's SO FAST.

They are starting an effort to get broadband to this whole state, however most folks that hear the term are looking for tickets to the Broad Band. My phone is connected with a double twist of WD-1 wire to the main feed line and will not support DSL and wireless is out of the question. I do have satellite, however we lose that often because of weather. Cable does not come out this far. Tis the price I pay for living where I do, but the trade off is fine for me.

Jack, I too live without broadband. Live too far out of town. However, I have a large pond and a pistol range on five acres......... I get to watch otters play, fox, deer, turkeys, owls, and a couple of hawks. I'll keep my dial up to keep the other things I have.......
