Quick Question

I looked in the other threads before I decided to make this one, if I missed one regarding this topic, I'll knock 'em out.

With the information that I've recieved, the language course is embedded within the MOS course, if that's true, then what about people that are already proficient (and DLPT tested) in their target language? Are they given a new language based within their future group's AOR?

My buddies that know a language and tested out through the DLPT are currently doing the following.

They were not assigned a new language. The only ones that got a 3rd language that they wanted had not taken the DLPT and basically never mentioned their 2nd language.

Those that tested out are doing Language block 1, and Block 2. They did not have to do Block 3, which is the big language 'blitz'.

As of today the language course goes:

Language Block 1 - Lasts 2 weeks. This is completed before MOS Training starts.
Language Block 2 - Lasts 2 weeks and for all MOS's except for 18D occurs in the Middle of their MOS training. All MOS's except for 18D also have language school on Saturdays during MOS Training.
Language Block 3 - Language 'Blitz' occurs after MOS Training. If you test out before Block 3 you will not do it. You'll skip ahead to Phase IV.

I say "As of today" because, like most things in this course, it seems to change all the time.
