Best item so far is a new HK Full-size USP .45, but I just got a web print-out since there is a waiting period in CA and I have to get it from the dealer. Also Bates boots and a ton of NRA gear . . .

Don't have the item yet, but I just got photos!

I take it you found a dealer that would handle it?

Not yet. I've been too busy to deal with it, but hopefully will be able to soon.

That reminds me, I may need to go pick up a gun or two tomorrow myself.

RL,
Normally I wouldn't jump in here but....I can't resist. The other day I picked up a new gun, took me about 10 mins to fill out the paperwork, pay, and walk out with gun in hand.

A big thanks to One-Zero.
My new Kimber Compact CDP (4" slide, officer frame)....pic 1 up close.... pic 2 - my total carry kit..... and finally pic 3- with my prior CCW which is the pro model CDP (4" slide, full size frame).
Also, I did some cutting on that bianchi auto retention holster in the pics. They only made that model (82) for a full length slide 1911, so I cut her down to the right length and had my boot repair fella' restitch her back for $4.
Hey RL.... you get that pistol delivered to you YET??? LOL

Sten, While RL is waiting on that sidearm, just thought I'd mention what good taste your wife has.
If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask.

I understand with the New Lawyer Huntin' Stamp being issued in many states, the wait period of lawyers have been increased, to provide far play for first time hunters.
