Well Eagle, unfortunately there are a lot of people alive today that had no skin in that game. That's why we are where we at. It was not a reality for a lot here in the US. Only something that played out on TV.
Other than the initial terror attacks and those that went and fought (and their families), no one here in the US went through any hard times due to the GWOT.

You can maintain Western civilization or you can allow unchecked Islamic invasion via feel good policies and open borders.

Islam is incompatible with everything else on earth. The communists seem to think they can use Islam to achieve their goals and then deal with the Islamists. I believe the Islamists are using the communists to achive their goals.
