Well guys I made it. I really wonder how, since over all of those years I certainly wasn't the easiest man in the world to live with. But, I was fortunate to have a wife who loved me and put up with me. I just wanted to drop a line to let it be known that it is possible and I consider myself the luckiest man in this world.........:D

Teddy, Happy Anniversary! I am so happy for you both. Thats a long time but you show it can be done. Where theres a will, theres a way! I wish you both many more wonderful years together. :)
Teddy, congrats! Wish your wife and you many more.
And we're all hard to live with.......
Congrats, you old goat! :lifter
My wife and I are at 34 and can see no reason to end it...yet. One of our personal jokes is that we do an annual performance review to determine whether or not we want to renew our 'contract'...and so far we have. ;)

That is wonderful. Congratulations to both you and your wife for making it through the trials and tribulations and deciding you still liked waking up next to one another every morning.
Congrads and I hope you have many more.....

To make 50 I'll have to make it to 85. But then, I come from a family of long livers. ;) My wife groans at the thought. :D

Teddy,
Congratulations, and many, many more
I am 5 years behind you – We celebrated our 45th anniversary in January.
I am still thankful that God made a woman who has put up with me and my nonsense for that period of time. She still says that occasionally "I’m to stupid to talk to" :D

Are you sure it's 50? I don't think you're allowed to count all the years you spent deployed! :p Congratulations, makes me wish there was a rollover plan where I could transfer the years I wasted on the first one to the keeper.
Congrats on 50 years. I'm always amazed when they have pictures of the folks celebrating their 50th in the Saturday edition of the local newspaper . One couple was actually married for 75 years! My wife and I are on year 31. Only 19 more long dreary, I mean, wonderful years to go.
Congratulations to you and your lovely bride! Fifty years is a wonderful accomplishment!

This is my wife Maggie and me taken in 1955 after I got my wings at Ft Bragg and was in the 505 PIR. She was 15 and I was 17. We were sweethearts since grammar school. I attended her graduation. We got married very young and everyone just gave us 6 months. That was of course 50 years ago........

Pretty amazing story, in my book. You two have been married a good number of years longer than many of us have been alive.
Any sage advice for us newlyweds?
I think we have to bronze you now and put you in the marriage hall of fame :)
Congrats! That is awesome!
Half a century, that's fantastic!!!! Congrats and wishing you many more. :)
