50th Wedding Anniversary...,......

Well guys I made it. I really wonder how, since over all of those years I certainly wasn't the easiest man in the world to live with. But, I was fortunate to have a wife who loved me and put up with me. I just wanted to drop a line to let it be known that it is possible and I consider myself the luckiest man in this world.........

Congrats, you old goat!

My wife and I are at 34 and can see no reason to end it...yet. One of our personal jokes is that we do an annual performance review to determine whether or not we want to renew our 'contract'...and so far we have.

That is wonderful. Congratulations to both you and your wife for making it through the trials and tribulations and deciding you still liked waking up next to one another every morning.

Congratulations!

To make 50 I'll have to make it to 85. But then, I come from a family of long livers. My wife groans at the thought.

50th Wedding Anniversary

Teddy,
Congratulations, and many, many more
I am 5 years behind you – We celebrated our 45th anniversary in January.
I am still thankful that God made a woman who has put up with me and my nonsense for that period of time. She still says that occasionally "I’m to stupid to talk to"

Are you sure it's 50? I don't think you're allowed to count all the years you spent deployed! Congratulations, makes me wish there was a rollover plan where I could transfer the years I wasted on the first one to the keeper.

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

Congrats on 50 years. I'm always amazed when they have pictures of the folks celebrating their 50th in the Saturday edition of the local newspaper . One couple was actually married for 75 years! My wife and I are on year 31. Only 19 more long dreary, I mean, wonderful years to go.

Congratulations to you and your lovely bride! Fifty years is a wonderful accomplishment!

The HH6 has served a fourteen year sentence of PMS ( Putting up with My Shenanigans) How or why is often unclear.
