Ok, you guys are jealous cause you don't have Sailors.
I originally posted this in the malaria thread, but sense it was more humor and added nothing to the orignal thread, I move it here.
One of the best stories in my memory on RVN is about anti malaria tablets. We had two types issued, one that is taken daily and a one that was good for a week. Generally no one I knew took them. One side effect was diarrhea, or so we thought.
Doc Bo who was our battalion head Corpsman, wanted a piss test for every Marine to determine who was taking the anti-malaria tabs. I was told to deliver a urine sample to the med facility. Not wanting to get into trouble, I shaved some anti-malaria tablet in to my urine sample and delivered it as ordered.
About a week later, I asked Doc Bo, "How did the tests turned out?". His only reply was, "F&^%IN Marines!" and walked away.
